We're excited to share the news that Roy Candlin, Senior Account Manager, has been shortlisted for the Pro Landscaper 'Unsung Heroes Award'.

Roy has been instrumental in the success of our Special Education Needs (SEN) grounds maintenance internships, mentoring individuals like Wayne Gorman to pass his PA1 test at Rodbaston College and supporting Kenney Hanney, who signed his first contract with Ground Control thanks to the SEN schemes.

Over Christmas 2022, Roy, Wayne, and Kenney gave up their time to support a Birmingham-based homeless charity by collecting and delivering donations and by serving at the local soup kitchen.

We're proud to say that whilst supporting these individuals and charity endeavors, Roy continues to deliver quality services to his clients and is responsible for one of the biggest clients at Ground Control, finding time to join their volunteer days and providing proactive BNG advice that understands their specific aims.

Winners of the Pro Landscaper award will be announced at FutureScape on Wednesday 22nd November at ExCel London.
